Crock Pot Chicken Fried Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound minute steak (cube steak)
  • 2 tablespoons oil or butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Rice or mashed potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, salt, mustard powder, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. Dredge steaks in flour and then brown in skillet with oil until just barely brown on each side. Place in greased crock pot. Combine soup and water in a small dish. Pour over steaks. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with rice or potatoes.
