Mom's Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 5-6 medium squash
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 cups cornbread, mashed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pound (or more if desired) velvetta cheese
  • 2 tbs cayenne
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cut and boil squash and onion for until soft, 15 to 20 mins. In large casserole mix squash and onion with remaining ingredients. Cook in 375 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
