STRAWBERRY BREAD

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine oil, sugar, and extract. Beat in eggs. Stir in strawberries. Combine soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and flour. Add to mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
