Mom's Pineapple-Cranberry Squares 4 Holidays

Ingredients

  • 1 Lrg. pkg. raspberry Jello
  • 1 1/4 C boiling water
  • 1 1-lb, 4 oz. can crushed pineapple, NOT drained
  • 1 1 lb. can whole cranberry sauce
  • 3/4 C port wine
  • 1 C chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 C sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, stir in cranberries until breaking up then stir in pineapple, nuts and wine. Chill until set in a serving dish (large)or 9 X 13" Pyrex pan.

When set, soften cheese and beat in sour cream until smooth. Spread evenly over Jello and sprinkle some nuts over the top. Chill until ready to serve.
