Ingredients
- 2 tbsp whole peppercorns
- 16 oz beef broth
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- s & p to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Bring peppercorns, broth, red wine and onion soup mix together. Cook till thickened. Whisk together cornstarch and 2 tbsp water till smooth. Add cornstarch mix and mustard to peppercorn mix till thick (approx 2 mins). Serve over steaks.
