CRANBERRY JELLO SALAD

  • 1 AND 1/2 CUP OF GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS
  • 1/4 CUP OF SUGAR
  • 1/2 CUP (1 STICK) OF MELTED BUTTER
  • 8 OZ SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
  • 1 TUB OF COOL WHIP
  • CRANBERRY JELLO (IF CAN NOT FIND THEN RASPBERRY)
  • 16OZ CAN OF WHOLE CRANBERRY SAUCE
  • 15 OZ CAN OF MANDARIN ORANGES
  • 1/4 CUP OF SUGAR

Preparation

Step 1

STIR 1 AND 1/4 CUPS OF BOILING WATER INTO JELLO (6OZ). STIR IN CRANBERRIES. STIR IN 1 AND 1/2 CUPS OF COLD WATER. REFRIGERATE FOR 1 AND 1/4 HOURS. GENTLY STIR IN MANDARIN ORANGES (DRAINED)

STIR TOGETHER THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS, 1/4 CUP OF SUGAR, AND MELTED BUTTER AND PRESS INTO THE BOTTOM OF A 13 X 9 DISH AND REFRIGERATE.

BEAT THE CREAM CHEESE, 1/4 CUP OF SUGAR IN LARGE BOWL UNTIL SMOOTH. GENTLY STIR IN COOL WHIP AND SPREAD OVER THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST. SPOON GELATIN OVER CREAM CHEESE LAYER. MAY TOP WITH MORE WHIPPED TOPPING. REFRIGERATE FOR 3 HOURS
