Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into thin slices
  • 2 halved garlic cloves
  • low fat cream cheese
  • 16 halved cherry tomatoes
  • chopped red onion
  • 3 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. basil leaves

Preparation

Step 1

Bake bread slices for 3 min at 400. Turn and bake 3 min. more.
Rub bread with garlic.
Sprinkle bread with tomatoes and onion.
Whisk vinegar, oil, salt and pepper.
Drizzle over bread.
Top with torn fresh basil.
