Ingredients
- 25 fresh, plump jalapeños
- 16 ounces of 1/3 less fat cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 (16 oz) packages of bacon
Preparation
Step 1
Note: It's recommended to put on rubber gloves when handling jalapeños. Otherwise be very careful not to put your hands on your face.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Cut stems off of peppers and cut them all in half longways
Remove seeds from peppers using a spoon.
Fill each pepper half with cream cheese and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top
Wrap half a slice of bacon around each pepper half
Place peppers on baking sheets and cook for 10-15 minutes (until bacon is fully cooked)
Remove and serve when cooled
