Red Lobster Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese (cubed or shredded)
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Whisk together: flour, baking powder, salt, peppers and cheddar cheese until covered with flour mixture.

In another bowl whisk together: milk, sour cream, butter and egg. Fold wet mixture into dry mixture. Stir only until combined.

If done as loaf, put into greased bread pan and bake 45-50 minutes and let stand 10 minutes.

Or do as drop biscuits - bake 8 - 10 min or til golden brown
