Ingredients
- 1 Tbl vegetable oil
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked instant brown rice
- 2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a 10-in skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until it's well browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
Stir the soup, water, paprika and black pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil.
Stir the rice and broccoli in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Return the chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle the chicken with additional paprika and black pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
