Pineapple Sauce for Ham

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 T. ketchup
  • 1 1/2 T. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed pineapple with juice
  • 2 1/34 T. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine water, sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, mustard, and pineapple in saucepan. Bring to boil; simmer 10 min. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 c. water. Add to sauce. Cook, stirring until clear. Serve over warm ham slices.
