Ingredients
- 1 C FINELY CHOPPED ONION
- 1 1/2 LB GROUND BEEF CHUCK
- 1 C CHOPPED PARSLEY
- 1 T SALT
- 1/2 t pepper
- Veg oil
- 1 (1 LB) PACKAGE #7 FILO DOUGH
- 6 LRG BEATEN EGGS
- 1 1/2 C GREEK PLAIN YOGURT
- 1 1/2 C SODA WATER
Preparation
Step 1
1) HEAT OVEN 350 DEGREES. SAUTE ONION & BEEF. DRAIN ADD PARSLEY SALT & PEPPER. COOL.
2) COAT 13X9 PAN. PLACE 2 SHEETS FILO BRUSH W/OIL. REPEAT USING 1/2 PKG OF FILO.
3) SPREAD MEAT MIXTURE OVER FILO, COVER WITH REMAINING FILO 2 SHEETS AT A TIME.
4) BRUSH TOP LIGHTLY W/OIL. CUT BUREK INTO 12 SQUARES.
5) MIX EGGS YOGURT & SODA. POUR OVER BUREK. COVER W/PLASTIC WRAP REFRIGERATE 2 HRS. BAKE 45 MIN UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
