Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 6 TBLS flour
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 4 green onions chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper chopped
- 4 chicken breasts boiled
- 1 bag of frozen okra
- 1 package sausage
Preparation
Step 1
Boil chicken breast. Save broth. In dutch oven melt the stick of butter; add flour and keep stirring until it is a peanut butter color or a little darker with wooden spoon. Add onions, celery, green onions and sauté until tender. Add broth around 6-8 cups. Bring to boil then simmer for 1 hour. Cook sausage and add. Add chicken last 10 minutes.
