Ingredients
- 2 large bunches Asparagus
- 1/4 cup Mirin
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Soak asparagus, to clean out any grit in the tips.
Trim woody ends, as needed, by snapping off or using a vege peeler.
marinate in oil, mirin, pepper, salt for at least 10 minutes before grilling.
on a medium heat, lay spears directly onto wire grill... turning every few minutes,
Spears will go bright green, and have a little bit og grilling marks when ready. do not overcook. they will remain slightly crisp.
