Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 head of cabbage
- 3 cups uncooked wide noodles
- 1-1/2 T garlic salt
- 1 T black pepper or more, to taste
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese or more
Preparation
Step 1
Method:
Melt butter in a 9-inch skillet.
Slice cabbage thin, place in skillet.
Simmer until soft (35 to 40 minutes), stirring often so cabbage doesn’t brown. This can be done in batches.
Cook noodles, drain.
Add noodles to the cabbage. Adjust seasonings.
Mix in cottage cheese and serve.
