Apple-E-Spice Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups (1lb 4-oz. can) pie sliced apples, drained, reserve liquid
  • 1 pkg pillsbury yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup liquid (see below)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 10 inch bundt or tub pan and sprinkle of mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon. Drain apple slices; add enough water to the liquid to make 1 cup. In large bowl, blend dry cake mix, 1 cup liquid, 3 eggs and 1 tablespoon cinnamon until moistened; beat as directed on package. by hand, stir in drained apple slices. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 * for 35 to 40 min. Cool upright in pan for 15 mins; remove from pan. Cool. Glaze.
