Sausage Balls (Sylvia Ford)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 lb hot sausage browned and drained (cooled)
  • 1 lb. sharp cheddar grated

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt
Cut in margarine
Stir in milk, cooled sausage and sharp cheddar

I double the recipe and use 1 hot and 1 mild sausage
Also put dough in ziplock bag and refrigerate and make as needed
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes
