Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 Cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 6 1/2 oz. tuna
  • 1 10 1/2 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 Cup hellmans
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 4 oz can slice mushrooms drained
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
  • 1 8 oz. bag noodles
  • 1/2 Cup bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, saute onion and celery in butter or margarine. Stir in tuna, soup, mayonnaise, milk, mushrooms, and pimento. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions and drain. Combine mixture and noodles in 2 quart casserole. Top with bread crumbs tossed with 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Bake 350 for 25 - 30 minutes until lightly brown.
