Sesame chicken thights

I cut recipe in half for less people.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. chicken thighs skin removed (you can use chicken breast if you want)
  • 1 1/4 cups honey
  • 1 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup low sodium ketchup
  • 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbs. Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted

Preparation

Step 1

1.Place chicken in a slow cooker

2.Combine remaining ingredients excepts sesame seeds.

3.Pour over chicken.

4.Cover and cook on low 5 hours or on high 2.5 hours

5.After cooked, I removed the sauce and boiled on the stove. I slowly added flour until the sauce thickened slightly.

6.Sprinkle with sesame seeds over top just before serving and serve with rice
