Cheesecake Factory's Mashed Potatoes

Yet another way to make fabulous mashed potatoes! Adding horseradish and gouda cheese gives these mashed taters a great flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups red potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish (heaping)
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup gouda cheese, shredded

Preparation

Step 1

Cut away blemishes in potato skins, and cube. Boil potatoes until they are very soft. Drain the water from pot. Add the butter and salt. Whip with a rotary beater until butter melts. Whip in remaining ingredients. Adjust seasoning.
