Ingredients
- 4 med. sweet potatoes, peeled
- 4 med. cooking apples
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 2 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut potatoes into slices, or halves, and boil.
2. Core apples, cut into quarters, but do not peel.
3. Mix molasses, water, margarine, and lemon juice or vinegar, and heat to boiling.
4. Add apples & cook until they are tender, but not soft.
5. Add sweet potatoes, and heat through.
6. Serve with roast pork.
