Jalapeno Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 c cornmeal
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 lg eggs
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/2 c melted butter
  • 10 oz cream style corn
  • 2 jalapenos, finely diced
  • 1 c grated old cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients
In a separate bowl beat eggs until light and frothy
Beat in sour cream, butter and corn
Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
stir in peppers and cheese
Bake at 373 in a greased 13x9 pan 30-35 mins
Cool and cut in squares
