Broiled Crab Open Facers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh lump crab meat
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 t. chopped onion
  • 1/2 t. mustard
  • 1/2 t. Old Bay Seasoning (or to taste)
  • Dash salt or to taste
  • softened butter
  • 10 English muffins, split and toasted

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first eight ingredients. Spread the muffins with soft butter and top with the crab mixture. Broil 5 inches from the heat for 2-3 mins. Cut in half for appetizers. (May be made ahead, refrigerated and reheated in a 250 degree oven for 5-10 mins.)
