Shrimp Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 4oz. cans broken shrimp or 1/2 lb of your favorite shrimp, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. Chesapeake Bay Seasoning (Cajun seasoning would also be good)
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • dash Berbere (optional) to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl using an electric mixer, blender or food processor until smooth. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. It tastes even better if made a day before serving. Serve with crackers. If you like spicy, it's good with a little Berbere sprinkled on top.
