Tilapia with Thai Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. tilapia
  • 8 whole mushrooms
  • 6 T cider vinegar
  • 6 T sugar
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 3 T very thinly sliced ginger
  • 1 finely chopped green onion
  • 1 T cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Slice mushrooms. Bring 3/4 cup water to boil. Add mushrooms, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and ginger. Simmer 5 minutes. Add 1 T cold water to cornstarch and stir until smooth. Then add to the sauce and simmer until clear and thickened. Drizzle ginger sauce over broiled fish.
