Mom's Easy Apple Turnovers

Ingredients

  • Pastry dough
  • Apple pie filling
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Butter
  • Milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Roll out pastry dough 1/8" thick. Cut into 5" squares. Place filling in center. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Dot with butter. Moisten edges with cold water. Fold into triangles and seal well. Cut slits on top. Brush with milk, sprinkle with sugar.

2. Bake at 475 degrees, 15 - 20 minutes.
