Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

1. Separate the onion slices into rings.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper; mix well.

3. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Place the onion rings in the flour; coat well then carefully place in the hot oil.

4. Fry for 6 to 8 minutes, until golden. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and serve.
