Broccoli Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz. bag broccoli florets, thawed and drained
  • 2 14 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 T. cornstarch
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 1 t. Italian Seasoning, divided
  • 1/4 t. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 T. butter, melted
  • 2 T. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 c. unseasoned dry bread cubes, crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Place broccoli in singe layer in 3-quart shallow baking dish, cutting any large florets in half.
Combine tomatoes, cornstarch, sugar, 3/4 t. Italian Seasoning and pepper.
Pour over broccoli.
Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over tomatoes.
Combine melted butter with remaining 1/4 t. Italian Seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
Toss with bread crumbs.
Sprinkle over broccoli mixture.
Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes.
