Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. macaroni, cooked
  • 2 T. margarine
  • 2 T. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 1/2 t. dry mustard
  • 1/4 t. paprika
  • 2 c. cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350º. Place cooked macaroni into an 8” glass baking dish. In saucepan, melt margarine. Add flour and cook 1 minute. Add milk, salt, pepper, dry mustard and paprika; stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Add 1 c. cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Pour sauce over macaroni and mix. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake until cheese is browned, approximately 35 – 45 minutes. Do not cover.
