Ingredients
- 1 ib sweet italian sausgae, casing removed and broken into pieces
- 1 large onion , chopped
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 2 T tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 small bunch kale, stems removed and chopped
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c EVOO
- 2 large russet potatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sausage thru seasoning with 1 c water in a crock pot. Nestle in taters in the liquid and top wih kale.
Cook covered for 7 -8 hours on low. Transfer potatoes to mixing bowl add milk, oil, and mash.
Serve stew with mashed potatoes on top.
