Roasted veal Chops with Red Grapes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb seedless red grapes
  • 3 T sherry vinegar
  • 2 1/2 softened butter
  • 1/2 t sugar
  • 4 veal rib chops

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 500. On a brimmed baking sheet, toss grapes with vinegr, 1 1/2 T butter & sugar; season with salt & pepper.
Roast for 10 min. shaking pan halfway thru.
Rub veal chops with remaining butter & season with salt & pepper. Push grapes to one side of baking sheet.
Add veal & roast for 5 min. Turn & roast for another 5 min. Transfer veal to platter, scrape grapes & juices on top & serve.
