Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped bacon
- 1/2 c. diced ham
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 pound green beans
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a saucepan cook bacon until fat begins to render.
2. Add ham, onion and garlic and cook for 1 min.
3. Add beans and 1 cup water and bring to boil.
4. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are very tender, 8-10 min.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
