Ingredients
- 3 Hot Italian Sausages
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 3 Garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Cans of Tomato Soup (10oz)
- 1/4 cup Sun Dried Tomatoes, chopped; OR 3 tsp roasted red pepper pesto
- 2 cups Half & Half
- 2 cups Chicken Stock
- 1 TBSP Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 1/2 packages of Cheese Tortellini (13.5 oz)
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese (garnish)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Remove sausage from casing. Brown sausage in skillet and cut into small pieces.
2. Saute garlic in olive oil in large pot. When garlic is lightly browned, add tomato soup, chicken stock, half & half, seasoning, Sun dried tomatoes, and sausage.
3. Bring to simmer. Once simmering, add tortellini and cook according to package.
4. Top with Parmesan cheese.
