Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, chopped - i use more
- 2 TBL corn oil
- 2 mediun onions, thinly sliced
- 1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatos, undrained
- 2 tsp. cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper - i use more
- 8 oz. meullers angle hair, cooked & drained
Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet cook bacon just until crisp. Remove bacon; drain fat from skillet. add corn oil; heat over medium heat. Add onion; saute 6-8 minutes or until browned. Stir in undrained tomatoes, breaking tomatoes with spoon.* Add bacon and next 4 ingredients. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss with pasta. Add parmesean cheese if desired.
* I sometimes use can of crushed tomatoes.
