Mango-Lime BBQ Sauce

(Best served with barbequed chicken or other meat)
(Brush BBQ sauce on chicken during the last 10 minutes of grilling, allowing 5 minutes per side. Applying sooner with cause sugars in the sauce to burn and the chicken to char)

Step 1

1. In a saucepan combine 1 1/3 cups chopped mango, 2/3 cup packed brown sugar, 2/3 cup chopped onion, 1/3 cup lime juice, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup guava paste, 3 TBSP honey, 2 TBSP tomato paste, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 3/4 tsp. ground cumin.
2. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 15 minutes. Transfer to a blender. Cover; blend until desired consistency.
