Gourmet Alley's Gilroy Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 C butter
  • 1/2 C olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1/4 t oregano
  • 1/2 C white wine
  • 3 T parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in sauce pan and combine with oil, garlic and simmer over low heat for 1 min. Add pepper, oregano and white wine and bring to a boil. Add parsley and remove from heat and pour into a large baking pan.

Slice 2 loaves French Bread lengthwise and toast on grill or broiler until brown. Dip toasted halves cut side down in butter mixture and serve immediately.
