Tortellini Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 (14 1/2 oz) cans chicken broth
  • 2 (9 oz) packages refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T minced fresh or 1 t dried basil
  • shredded parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan over medium high heat; add tortellini and next 4 ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Garnish, if desired.
