Pumpkin/Cheese Tortelloni with gorgonzola cream sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 2 Tbls. minced shallots
  • 2 Tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream (2 cups)
  • 1 cup crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
  • 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
  • Sauteed mushrooms

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and saute shallots and mushrooms in pan and add garlic. Add cream to skillet and simmer, stirring constantly until slightly thickened (3-4 minutes). Add cheese and continue cooking until cheese melts. Season with pepper. Cook Tortelloni and drain. Pour sauce over Tortelloni and serve.
