Ingredients
- 2 3/4 C. BASIC COOKIE MIX
- 1 C. coconut
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 egg
- 1 T. water
- 1 egg white, beaten
- 1 1/2 C. coconut
- Red candied cherries
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375*. In large bowl, combine *MIX*, 1 C. coconut, almond extract, and egg at low speed until well blended and dough forms.
In small bowl, combine water and egg white. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Dip in egg white mixture; roll in remaining coconut.
Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Place cherry in center of each cookie, pressing down lightly. Bake for 11 to 14 minutes or until edges are a light golden brown.
