Plentil Pizza Crust

A flaky & crunchy pizza crust made using Enjoy Life Foods Top 8 & Gluten Free Plentils Chips. {Photos & recipe belong to Keeley McGuire of www.keeleymcguire.com}

Ingredients

  • 1 4oz bag of Margherita Pizza Plentils, pulsated in a food process until a crumble
  • 5 Tablespoons of melted non-dairy buttery spread (or butter, if you can handle)
  • Toppings of choice: Non-dairy cheese, 1/2 cup of sauce, pepperoni, veggies, etc.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 8-9" round cake pan.
In a large bowl, add melted butter to the crumbled Plentils. Mix until well coated.
Pat firmly into the bottom of the cake pan, evenly.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool COMPLETELY.
Add toppings and return to oven for ten minutes.
Remove and let cool. Slice and enjoy.
