Danish Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups diced, peeled
  • (sauted in 1 T. butter)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg, gradually adding the sugar and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt to create smooth batter. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour into buttered and floured 8" square glass pan.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut into squares. Serve with caramel topping or ice cream.
