Maple Glaze Butternut Squash

Ingredients

  • 1 Butternut Squash
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup dark rum

Preparation

Step 1

1. Peel, slice and cube squash.

2. Place squash in large saucepan, add all ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes or until squash is tender.

3. Remove from saucepan to serving dish with a slotted spoon.

4. Pour remaining glaze over squash and serve.
