Roast with Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 thick chuck roast
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Canned mushrooms if desired.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix soup with onion soup mix and add sour cream. Add canned mushrooms with juice if desired. Pour over roast (salt and pepper first) and cover. Bake 350 for 1 - 1/2 hours or 275 for 3 hours.
