Pa Dutch Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • Filling
  • 1-1/4 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1-1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 4 cups tart apples; thinly sliced
  • 1 egg; beaten
  • Crumbs
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sour cream, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla.
Add apples and beaten egg.
Bake in shell for 25 minutes @ 400°F

Blend together crumb ingredients.

Remove pie from oven and add crumbs.
Return to oven for 20 minutes.

Cool and refrigerate.
Serve when cold.
