Ingredients
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp grated orange peel
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 Tilapia fillets
- flour seasoned with sea salt and pepper, for dredging
- thinly sliced green onions,for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, whick together orange juice and peel, garlic, ginger and oil.
Place tilapia fillets in a shallow baking dish. cover with the marinade and marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove tilapia from the marinade;reserve the marinade. Dredge tilapia in seasoned flour to coat, shaking off excess.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add tilapia and cook until lightly golden, 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
Add remaining marinade to the pan, bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Reduce heat and simmer until it has a glaze consistency, 3 to 4 minutes. Garnish with green onions.
