Ingredients
- 1 pkg strawberry jello (3-oz)
- 1 tsp plain gelatin (dissolved in small amount cold wster)
- 1 pkg (10-oz) frozen strawberries thawed
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 can spiced grapes (or 1-1/2 cups other fruit)
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Drain liquid from fruits and save. Dissolve gelatins in boiling liquid made up of drained fruit juices then if necessary adding enough water to make up 2 cups liquid.
Add fruits. Put 1/2 of fruit mixture in ring mold. Refrigerate until firm. Mix sour cream and nuts and spread over firm gelatin mixture. Carefully pour remaining gelatin mixture over sour cream mixture and refrigerate until firm. Unmold onto serving plate.
