Green beans and shallots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. green beans
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2 T. chopped shallots
  • 2 T. chopped garlic
  • 1/4 C. olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Place beans in saucepan with water. Heat to a boil, then stir, reduce heat and cook, covered, 3-5 minutes. Drain and place in serving bowl.

In small bowl, combine shallots, garlic and olive oi, stirring to blend.

Pour the dressing over cooked beans. toss and serve.
