Savory Steaks With Mushroom & Port Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 pkg. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion or shallots
  • 1/4 cup drt red wine or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pkg. Knorr Gravy Classics Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 boneless steaks, grilled, broiled or pan-friend to desired donenesss.

Preparation

Step 1

In 10-inch nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium

high heat and cook mushrooms and onions, stirring

occasionally, 6 minutes or until mushrooms start to

brown. Stir in wine and Au Jus Gravy Mix blended

with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce

heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally 6

minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Serve

sauce over steaks.
