Crab and Cream Cheese Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 small onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup mayonaise
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 6 oz crabmeat (fresh or frozen), shredded and drained

Preparation

Step 1

1. Blend together cream cheese, onion, mayonaise, lemon juice, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl.

2. Shape to fit in center of shallow soup dish and cover with plastic wrap.

3. Refrigerate overnight.

4. To serve, cover top of mixture with chili sauce, placing shredded crabmeat on top so that the entire surface is covered. Place in center of a large platter and surround with your favorite crackers.
