Ingredients
- 2 quarts strawberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 T cornstarch mixed with 1/3 cup water
- 1 10 inch baked pie shell
Preparation
Step 1
Combine 1 cup mashed strawberries with 1 cup water in saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup sugar and the cornstarch which has been dissolved in the 1/3 cup water. Boil until mix turns clear, approx. 5 minutes stirring constantly. (Can add 4 drops of red food color). Cool glaze and add berries to glaze and toss gently.
